I am contracted with the following insurance plans:
BCBS (Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts)
Aetna
Prior to our first meeting, I advise that you contact your insurance plan to inquire about your eligibility/benefits. Helpful questions to ask may be:
What are my in-network behavioral health benefits? What is my cost per session (e.g. deductible, copayment, coinsurance)?
Are behavioral health services applied toward my deductible; if so, what is my deductible and how much has been met?
Do I have telehealth coverage for behavioral health services?
Clients using an (Out of Network) PPO Plan, payment for the session is due at the time of service and it is up to you to contact your insurance company to understand their policy and rate of reimbursement. I advise you contact your insurance company to inquire about your out-of-network benefits and reimbursement policy. I encourage you to ask the questions below.
Do I have out-of-network behavioral health benefits?
Do I have an out-of-network deductible; if so, how much is it and how much has been met?
What is my out-of-network reimbursement rate per session?
Are there limitations based upon the length of session (i.e. 45 vs 60 minutes)?
What documentation from my therapist do I need in order to file for reimbursement?
As a default, I will provide you with a “Superbill” (i.e an invoice) that you can submit to your insurance for reimbursement.
At this point in time my practice does not offer Single Case Agreements with OON Insurance Plans.
Self-Pay
My rate is $175 per session for individual therapy. Intakes are $200.
Co-Payments/Payments: All major credit cards accepted, including HSA/FSA cards. Payment is requested at the time of service.
Cancellation Policy
Please give 24 hours notice if you are unable to keep an appointment. Any appointments canceled with less than 24 hours’ notice are charged at the full session rate of $175, as that time cannot typically be filled on short notice.
I completely understand that unexpected things come up, and I always aim to be fair and transparent. My cancellation policy helps me maintain consistent availability for clients and manage my schedule responsibly.
