I provide in-person and virtual therapy to adults who reside in Massachusetts in my practice.
My approach to therapy is strength based and collaborative. Clients describe me as warm, empathic, non-judgmental, and genuine. I believe it is essential to have a strong client-therapist relationship to facilitate growth and change. I use evidence based models of treatment including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) Dialectical Behavior Therapy Skills (DBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Exposure Response Prevention (ERP).
Itβs important to share a few things:
I operate from a fat-positive, HAES-informed, anti-diet, and neurodiversity-affirming framework. My practice is inclusive and affirming of people across all genders, sexual orientations, races, cultures, religions, and neurotypes.
I use she/her/hers pronouns and identify as a white, cisgender woman. I am committed to antiracism and racial equity work and understand this is a lifelong journey. I actively engage in ongoing education, reflection, and accountability, and I welcome being called in and called out as part of that process.
